When I was Seventeen (Synopsis)

                                        

                                            When I Was Seventeen        

        Anurag gets a job in Delhi. Here he meets a girl named Henna.  Henna is very beautiful, talkative and full of energy. They soon become very good friends. They do lots of funny things together. Anurag falls in love with Henna and proposes her.  Henna listens to Anu nicely and after a silence she starts crying. She doesn’t answer to proposal. After some days they meet in office and they talk. Henna tells Anu that she loves a boy named Rajeev. Rajeev was with her in school. Rajeev fallen in love with her when she was 17. She didn’t took Rajeev seriously and become his friend, then best friend and one day she realized that she is also in love with Rajeev. When she was to tell him this, Rajeev told her that he is not in love with her.  It was her beauty, talkativeness which made Rajeev forget his pain, pain given to him by fate (Rajeev was a basket ball player. He broke his leg when he to play in the finals for his club. It shattered him down. But Henna made him forget everything. Her beauty and sympathy confused him as if he was in love with Henna). As soon as he realised this, he told this to Henna, because she is his best friend so he can’t lie to her that he is in love with her. He told her the truth. This all happened six years back. They are still in touch as good friends. They sometimes talk on phone. This is just friendship. But Henna loves Rajeev so much that she can’t even think of any other guy. She’s been trying for all these years and couldn’t dare to tell him thid. Rajeev never showed that he is love with her after their brake up.
           Anu decides to bring this guy Rajeev in henna’s life back. He makes a fake facebook account which shows him as a girl named Riyaa Sharma. He becomes Rajeev’s friend and has discussions about number of things including love. Riya(Anu) makes him feel as they are in love with each other. Rajeev is attracted to Riya, because she sounds more like Henna. Rajeev wants see Riya and makes an appointment to meet her at a restaurant.  Anu sends some other girl for him. While talking to the girl Rajeev finds out that this is not the girl whom he talked on FB. Rajeev asks to the girl about this. She leaves. Rajeev comes back and asks to Riya (Anu) that why she did so?  Riya(Anu) cooks a story and tells him that she is still in love her ex boyfriend and because him she realized this. She didn’t knew how to say no to him, so she sent her friend to handle it, she is sorry. This worked like someone has shown mirror to Rajeev that he is still in love with Henna and a lot. He tries to find some way to tell Henna his feelings. After some days Riya (Anu) want to see him again. Rajeev tries to say no and tells her about Henna. He finally agrees to meet Riyaa when she almost begs to see him. Anu also asks Henna to meet at the same place. She agrees when he says that he has very important to tell her about Rajeev.
          Rajeev sees Henna this time in place of Riyaa. He is happy to see her and feels as if she tricked him as Riyaa. They start talking and also has a small fight which makes Anu appear before them.

       As soon as Rajeev sees Anu he recognises him as his school friend Anurag who suddenly disappeared. Anurag tells them the story, he was also in love with Henna while school days. Because he knew that Rajeev loves her, so he couldn’t say anything. After sometime his father got transferred to Cochin that’s why he disappeared.  After a long time he came back to Delhi and meets Henna. He again fallen in love with her and told her his feelings. But she was still in love with Rajeev and told him the whole story. He decided to meet them and he succeeded.
     On their (Rajeev and Henna) engagement Anurag gets his heart on Rajeev’s sister.
